• Bapu (born Satthiraju Lakshmi Narayana; December 15, 1933 – August 31, 2014) is an Indian film director, known for his works inTelugu cinema. He is a music artist, painter, illustrator, cartoonist, and designer.He has won many prestigious awards.some of them include:

• Bapu introduced a painting style of simple bright colors. His unique style consisted of economy of strokes, freehand drawing and a lack of background clutter.
• Bapu's paintings also decorated the cover pages of many magazines in India and Abroad.

MY OPINION:

His passing away is definitely going to leave a huge void in Indian cinema.The tremendous art of painting which he mastered will also be missed but the epic movies that he has given will be remembered forever.
