SENSATIONAL VERDICT

Tamilnadu chief minister Jayalalitha was handed a  4 year imprisonment and a fine of Rs.100 crores by a special court in Bangalore on 27-09-2014 in the Disproportionate assets case in which she was proven guilty of having illegal assets worth Rs.66 crores.The decision  turned out to be an sensational one in a case which lasted for over 18 years. 

MY OPINION:

All the good work she has been doing in the last few years has been undone by the verdict.She might feel a little bit unlucky because there are many so called "LEADERS" in the country who are involved in huge scams worth thousands of crores are escaping the law and she was caught for only 66 crores("less in today's  political terms").However justice is done to the common man and to his money.

                    The law should catch hold all these people who in the name of leadership are looting public property.There are many such "MONEY SUCKERS" in the country and they should atleast open their eyes right now and do the work for which they are elected for.This decision by the court is definitely laudable and will definitely go a long way in injecting some fear into our "POLITICIANS", that they will be jailed if found guilty.This good work should not stop here and should continue till we attain some transparency and true leadership at the helm of affairs.

                  "PUBLIC WELFARE SHOULD BE THE MAIN MOTTO FOR LEADERS NOT ASSIMILATING ILLEGAL ASSETS"

TRAGIC INCIDENT IN DELHI

MY OPINION:

The tiger staring at the boy when he fell into the enclosure

The incident of white tiger mauling a boy to death took place in Delhi on 23-09-2014 when the boy fell over from the barricade into the enclosure.The boy identified MAQSOOD was the victim and the eyewitnesses say that the boy fell into the enclosure and the tiger did not attack him for the first few minutes,it only attacked him when somebody threw a stone at the tiger which provoked it.But the authorities have a slightly different opinion about the incident that happened.

                 Whatever may be the reason THAT INNOCENT LIFE WILL NOT COME BACK......

                       UNFORTUNATELY  MAQSOOD YOU WERE AT THE WRONG PLACE TODAY.....
NOTE:
                 If the low barricade was the reason for this incident the authorities should open their  eyes and see that such incidents do not  repeat again.And also the visitors should be careful while taking photos,they should keep their enthusiasm under control while taking photos and should not get closer to these dangerous animals and lose their lives.

EBOLA: Another "KILLER VIRUS"

The worst-ever outbreak of EBOLA fever has now killed more than 2,400 people and infected twice that number, according to a new toll released  by the World Health Organization.As of 12 September 2014, there are about 4,784 cases and more than 2,400 deaths.

                                                                                                                  

HOW IT ENTERS INTO HUMANS?

According to the World Health Organization, "The Ebola virus enters human populations when people handle or eat infected wildlife, especially FRUIT BATS, chimpanzees, monkeys, forest antelopes and porcupines.

HOW IS EBOLA SPREAD?

By direct contact with an Ebola patient's blood or other bodily fluids like urine, saliva, and sweat. The highest concentration of virus is thought to be in blood, vomit and diarrhea.Scientist think FRUIT BATS might be the source of the virus, but aren't certain.

SYMPTOMS:

Initial symptoms are flu-like, and can present between 2 and 21 days after infection. They include high fever, headache, joint and muscle pains, sore throat, and weakness. These symptoms may not mean Ebola, but it’s important to get checked out immediately.

             After that, symptoms become more severe, and includes diarrhea, vomiting -and eventually 

organ failure, lesions, and severe bleeding. In these cases, contact a medical professional immediately to have the victim evacuated.

DIAGNOSIS:
Ebola virus infections can be diagnosed definitively in a laboratory through several types of tests:

• Antibody-capture enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA),Antigen detection tests,Serum neutralization test,Reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay,Electron microscopy,Virus isolation by cell culture.
• Samples from patients are an extreme biohazard risk; testing should be conducted under maximum biological containment conditions.

VACCINE AND TREATMENT:

• No licensed vaccine for Ebola Virus Disease(EVD) is available. Several vaccines are being tested, but none are available for clinical use.Severely ill patients require intensive supportive care. Patients are frequently dehydrated and require oral rehydration with solutions containing electrolytes or intravenous fluids.
• No specific treatment is available. New drug therapies are being evaluated.

MY OPINION:
It's definitely an alarming situation that the world is facing right now and the world should come together to curb this deadly virus.Since it is spreading day-by-day proper measures need to be taken so that more and more people do not get effected by this virus. 
        Many believe that the illegal trade of live wildlife out of Africa is the primary reason for the outbreak of this EBOLA virus.This trade results in considerable potential contact between infected animals and people, including traffickers, collectors, drivers, airport cargo handlers, airline passengers and the wider public in destination countries.
        And if that is the case  countries of the WORLD should act tough and prevent such sort of activities because LIVES OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE. ISN'T IT??

                                         HEART TRANSPLANTATION STORY
 03-09-2014:

STORY:

The donor, a 32—year—old homemaker married to a carpenter and mother of two children, met with a road accident near Hosur, Tamil Nadu on August 31. She was riding pillion when a tyre burst, throwing her off the bike. She was taken to BGS Global Hospital in Bangalore for treatment.She was brought to hospital in a critical condition. Despite doctors best efforts, there was no improvement. She was declared brain—dead around 6pm on Tuesday(02-09-2014). Doctors spoke to the family, and they agreed for a cadaver transplant. Recepients were found for her  2 kidneys and liver  But for the heart,  a matching was not found in Karnataka. A potential recipient was found at Fortis, Chennai, and coordination started early Wednesday(03-09-2014) morning.

HEART TRANSPORTATION:

From BGS Global Hospital in Bangalore to Fortis Malar Hospital, Adyar, Chennai.

BANGALORE/CHENNAI: The heart was rushed in an ambulance to the Bangalore airport, covering 45 km in a record 40 minutes and flown in a special Air India aircraft to Fortis in Chennai.At the other end, the Fortis authorities and the Chennai police had things well under control.  A GREEN CORRIDOR formed on a 13-km stretch from the Chennai airport to Fortis Malar Hospital, Adyar, Chennai. . The journey took just 7 minutes. 

 The result: An up to 7-hour journey - including airport formalities and flight time - was completed in just 2 hours and seven minutes.The heart reached the airport in 40 minutes, instead of the usual one-and-a-half hours. Doctors, traffic police and airport officials in Bangalore and Chennai transported a live heart over 350km in just over two hours on Wednesday(03-09-2014). 

THE PROCEDURE:

 The heart was stopped through a preservative solution and kept in a clean box. This procedure was done last and they first removed the liver and kidneys. The heart was retrieved last as it had to be transported within six hours. The heart in this procedure has to be kept in sub zero temperature and once a recipient is found, the arteries and veins are connected and slowly the temperature is increased to reactivate it.

In all, 18 medical personnel were  involved in the cadaver transplant procedure.

A donor's heart can extend and save the life of its receiver for about 20 years if transplantation is successful

DOCTORS OPINION: Doctors  said the whole exercise demonstrated that proper coordination between various agencies involved in emergency services can save lives.

MY OPINION:

It's really a miracle because the entire process took place in such a short span of time and also the end result was fruitful.I would like to congratulate all the Doctors,Traffic Police and all the concerned authorities for this massive operation which resulted in a successful Heart Transplantation.

Coming to the recipient,He's really lucky as he got a second life thanks to the honest efforts of our citizens.And coming to the Donor,she will  continue to live on in that patient's chest as long as he/she lives and every beat of that heart will remind the people the importance of service.I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Donor's family for their kind approval.

MY OPINION:

                     
Solving RUBIK'S cube is a difficult task for a beginner,but if you have the interest and enthusiasm to do it, through constant practice you can master it.A few years back some of us wouldn't have known about it let alone doing it.But the time has changed and many are able to solve it now.

MY EXPERIENCE:

           I came to know about  this RUBIK'S  cube through one of my friends and I was fascinated about it when my friend was solving it in a short span of time.I learnt it from him and I practiced it day in and day out and finally I did it.Initially I took more time to solve it but after some time I was able to do it faster and faster.

Now Iam going to show some videos of Me solving RUBIK'S cube in LESS THAN A MINUTE.Of course there are many people who can do it better  than me,but what I intend to tell is Anyone can do it with a little bit of practice.

KABADDI is a game that originated in early INDIA. India has been the dominant nation in the game of kabaddi in all international competitions like the WORLD CUP,ASIAN GAMES in both men's and women's event.Kabaddi world cup was started for men in 2004 and for women in 2012.
MEN'S TEAM:
 INDIA is UNBEATEN in world cups winning all the editions of the world cup(i.e.,in 2004,2007,2010,2011,2012,2013) emerging as the undisputed champion. 
NOTE:From 2011 the world is being held annually.    
Coming to the ASIAN GAMES, INDIA won gold medals in SIX editions consecutively from 1990 to 2010(1990,1994,1998,22002,2006,2010).   

WOMEN'S TEAM: 
Since the inception of the world cup in 2012,INDIA won it consecutively for 2 YEARS(2012,2013) and won the Gold medal in ASIAN GAMES when it was introduced in 2010.

MY OPINION:
I mentioned the above data because:

• Despite India's huge success in the game of KABADDI in all the International competitions,both the game of Kabaddi and Indian team did not receive the popularity that it deserved for all these years.
• In INDIA it is  the case with most of the sports as they do not  receive sufficient fame which they richly deserve  as CRICKET receives the bulk of people's attention,Money and popularity.
• But the scenario is slowly changing now as INDIA'S SPORTS PERSONS are beginning to perform well consistently in INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS in various games like SHOOTING,BOXING,BADMINTON,TENNIS etc.
• We have a long way to go but definitely it is a good sign for INDIAN SPORTS .
• With the advent of different leagues like IPL(cricket),IBL(Badminton),ISL(Football),PROKABADDI LEAGUE(Kabaddi) which are involving many CINEMA ACTORS,BUSINESS PEOPLE other celebrities,huge money, sponsorships other sports are beginning to get recognition in our country.

PROKABADDI LEAGUE

The inagural edition of the Prokabaddi league which took place from 26/07/2014 to 

31/08/2014  comprised of 8 teams and it also attracted many foreign players (only 3 foreign players are allowed per each side in a particular game),it(KABADDI) also caught the attention of the Indian audience on a large scale like never before.JAIPUR PINK PANTHERS owned by Bollywod Actor ABHISHEK BACHCHAN won the first edition defeating U MUMBA(Mumbai) in the final.

Finally, I feel that it's a clear indication that other sports(besides cricket) are being recognized in our country thanks to the initiatives taken by celebrities, Business people and others who are responsible for the success of various leagues.They may have their personal gains but the games are receiving sufficient recognition which is what we ultimately want.

As a great lover of sports I feel that INDIA can excel on the International scene in all sports provided we have good administration,enough facilities from the grass root level,enough recognition to the players of all sports.

MY OPINION:

His passing away is definitely going to leave a huge void in Indian cinema.The tremendous art of painting which he mastered will also be missed but the epic movies that he has given will be remembered forever.
