Problem in Discussion: "TOILETS"
MY OPINION:
- According to a report nearly 13 percent of the population in urban India defecate in the open.And in Delhi ,a cosmopolitan city and the capital of our country, number of those defecating in open as they don’t have a toilet is very high.
- If that is the case in Delhi,then imagine the situation in rural parts of the country.Definitely it's an alarming situation which needs to be addressed very quickly.
- And the irony is that in majority of the places the existing toilets are under repair and are left without any proper maintenance.
- Basic Issues like these need to be sorted out by our leaders and when it comes to leaders our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised that 100 million toilets will be built across the country in the near future.
- I hope our PM's statement will soon become a reality for the sake of our people and in a sense if it becomes a reality it also adds to the"clean India campaign " that has been initiated to make India clean.
